E-mail is a very versatile marketing tool. It’s easy and inexpensive to use as compared to other marketing tools, so it’s important to have diverse templates that can be used for a variety of purposes.

Some emails are sent directly after someone subscribes or signs up for your mailing list, others are sent to people who haven’t bought from you yet and still others are sent to people who you’ve already communicated with in some way before without being salesy.

These are the three categories with email marketing example that every business owner should incorporate into their marketing plan to generate more leads, generate more sales, and build trust with customers.

Email Marketing Examples for Welcome Email Campaign

Welcome emails serve several different purposes: To introduce customers to your new business, teach what makes you unique, and begin to connect with the customer personally. Welcome emails also represent an opportunity for businesses to be creative and establish a connection with your new subscribers.

Below are proven email marketing examples.  They won’t work for every business, but you are welcome to tailor them as needed to your campaign.  The most important thing is to notice how the welcome email expresses your gratitude for your new subscriber, and often, a gesture of appreciation for their interest in learning more about the products and services you are offering.

The word ‘cold’ in cold outreach email sounds intimidating, right? As soon as you hear that word, your mind races to thoughts such as ‘should I make small talk?’ or ‘will this email sound too salesy?’. Email Marketing Examples For Follow-up Emails

If you want to build relationships with your prospects and clients – Writing follow-up emails is an important step towards that goal. So, what does a good follow-up email look like?

Often times they can be as simple as asking a question.  Like “Did you receive our email on Thursday?” Often, the shorter they are, the more likely they are to get a response.

Below are some examples of follow-up emails you can use in your own campaign.  Follow-up emails, on average, are successful in generating a response 30% of the time if written correctly. Remember though, it’s just about initiating a response.  You should still be focused on moving the reader from the problem they are currently facing to your product as the solution.

Example 1

Dear _,

Thanks for your time today on the phone and a prompt response to my follow-up email this morning!

I’m excited that it sounds like we are able to work together after some minor adjustments.

If you’re still interested in me being your consultant, please let me know when would be best for us meet in person to talk about the final details.

Email Marketing Examples For Nurturing Emails

Nurturing emails are all about building a strong connection with your clients over time.  This is most beneficial if your product or service requires a customer to learn a lot about your product, or it takes several weeks or months for them to come to a decision.  It is vital to continuously provide genuine additional value to the recipient without being too sales focused.  You are building a relationship.

Sending out generic content doesn’t work anymore, that’s why the most effective nurturing campaigns keep it personal by targeting people’s individual pain points with personalized content.  A recent study found that personalized emails increased open rates by 20% when compared to non-personalized emails.  Personalization doesn’t always mean incorporating the person’s name in your email.   It’s more about speaking to the persons individual pain points with a personalized tone. This will help keep your brand on the top of a customer’s mind when it is time to make a purchase.  Below are a few email marketing examples for nurturing emails.

Example 1

We want to make sure we are fully present in their lives but also take time for ourselves.

If you’re a working mom, I hope this post inspires you and reminds that it is ok to be tired, overwhelmed, frustrated or even unhappy sometimes.

Sincerely,

Inbound marketing has changed the way sales teams operate.

Email is a powerful marketing channel for attracting new leads and delivering relevant offers. Creating a comprehensive email strategy for your business can save you time and money while boosting your conversion rates and sales numbers. Every email that a business sends should have the same goal: to provide help, answers or content in some way.

For many businesses, creating an email strategy is a job that is far too big and complex to take on. You need to create an email strategy that promotes long-term organic growth, provides a good user experience, builds brand awareness and requires no maintenance or support in the future.

There’s a point in your business where it’s critical for you to do it yourself, and that’s why we wrote these blogs.  But at some point, you run out of time.  You don’t have the bandwidth to write, manage, and update all these pieces yourself.

That’s where we come in handy because we can help you with creating an email strategy for your business by leveraging our expertise in email marketing and conversion rates optimization focused on achieving measurable results for our clients.

High open rates and better customer engagement are great for your business, but only if you have them on purpose. Let’s talk about what a meaningful email strategy is and why it can help you to grow your business in the long run
